Importing contacts using a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file is a quick and easy way to add multiple contacts to your system. This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to import contacts using a CSV file, ensuring proper data formatting for successful import.

Step 1: Access the Upload Button

Locate the upload button under CSV Thumbnail in the Add Leads tab while creating a campaign.

Step 2: Download CSV Sample

Before proceeding, it is recommended to download a CSV sample file provided to understand the required data formatting.
The sample file demonstrates how the data should be organized and helps you ensure the correct column structure.

Step 3: Format Your CSV File

Open your CSV file using a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Keep in mind the following important guidelines:
a. Do not change the email wording in column C. It should remain intact.
b. Maintain the name formatting as it is.

Make necessary adjustments to your CSV file but ensure it adheres to the guidelines above.
Save the changes to your CSV file.

Step 4: Upload the CSV File

Click on the Upload CSV File

Locate and select the modified CSV file from your computer.
Ensure that the file is correctly uploaded without any errors or interruptions.

Step 5: Verify the Number of Contacts

After successful upload, the system should display the number of contacts you are about to import.

If you don't see any number displayed, it indicates a potential issue with your CSV file or data formatting.
In such cases, it is recommended to recheck your CSV file and repeat the upload process.
